MONTPELIER, VT - With less than 14 days until the August 9th primary election, the Vermont Troopers Association has endorsed Doug DiSabito for the position of Grand Isle County State’s Attorney.

“We are endorsing Doug DiSabito because he is a proven leader in the community, the court room, and a team player among law enforcement professionals, in upholding Vermont laws and prosecuting cases,” said Mike O’Neill, Executive Director of the Vermont Troopers Association.

“I am very excited to once again have the backing from the Vermont Troopers Association,” DiSabito said. “I’m enthusiastic to continue to work collaboratively with them in developing strong cases and protecting our community in the islands. As State’s Attorney for the last eight years, law enforcement is the group I work most closely with, and they know best the skills I bring to the position. This endorsement means so much to me, and I am sincerely humbled by it.”
