SCHOLARSHIPS
The VTA’s 2023 annual scholarships were
awarded to the following
Jenna Zorn
Jenna graduated from the St. Johnsbury Academy with high honors and as a member of the National Honor Society in the spring of 2023. After completing a yearlong internship with the Ryegate Small Animal Hospital, she has decided to attend the Vermont State University at Randolph to study Veterinary Technology. Jenna loves everything outdoors and animals and hopes to one day work as wildlife rehabilitation specialist. In addition to the her passion for animals, she likes cycling, backpacking, and high fashion.
Brooks Robson
Brooks Robson of Hudson Valley (N.Y.) CC was named the 2023 NJCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Robson, who maintained a term GPA of 4.0, finished second in the triple jump at the 2023 NJCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
In addition to the above – Brooks lives in Troy NY, works at Hannaford and is a “Door-Dasher”. He’s taking general study courses year round at HVCC and hopes to transfer to a D-I school after his time at HVCC. He was very thankful for the VTA scholarship he received this year. For hobbies he enjoys fishing, finding ways to upgrade his WRX, playing basketball with friends, and video gaming.

Ainsley Busby
Ainsley is a 2022 graduate of Middlebury High School and a National Honor Society member. She is currently a student at Vermont State University in Castleton, pursuing a degree in nursing. Ainsley was named to the Dean's List for Spring 2023. Ainsley's goal is to become a labor-and-delivery nurse. During school breaks, she works as a personal care aide or caregiver at Addison County Home Health Hospice in New Haven, Vermont, providing care to residents of Addison County. She successfully completed Vermont First Responder training and is certified in First aid and BLS. Ainsley is thankful to the VTA for helping her financially achieve her goals.
Kelsey McNeil
Kelsey is a 2023 graduate of Rutland High School. She is entering her sophomore year at Vermont State University – Castleton as she completed her first year as an Early College student. She is studying mathematics and would like to become an elementary school teacher. Kelsey lives in Rutland with her family. Her dad Aron is the VSP Crime Scene Search Team Commander.
Hayden is an avid disc golfer, fisherman, hunter, and enjoys spending time in the gym with friends. He has a love of music and enjoys playing the guitar which and constantly teach es herself new songs. Hayden is excited to begin this adventure in Philadelphia. He appreciates being a recipient of this scholarship from the VTA.

Andrew Trottier
VTA/ EPIC RISK SOLUTIONS SCHOLARSHIP
Andrew graduated from Spaulding High School in 2022. While there, he played football and basketball. He was recruited and is continuing his football career at Defiance College in Defiance, OH. He is majoring in Business with a focus in Marketing.
